Behind Every SOLLiD Cabinet is a SOLLiD Warranty
SOLLiD Cabinetry (warrantor) warrants to the original consumer purchaser only that all products manufactured or supplied by warrantor will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for five years. (Proof of Purchase is required.) This warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear, accident, misuse or lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance and service; nor does it warranty the improper installation or unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification or defects in the unit when the product is installed. This warranty does not cover damages incurred in shipping or delivery. Should damage occur during shipping, please follow the protocol outlined in the Dealer Agreement.
In the event of a warranted product defect, please call or write SOLLiD Cabinetry with a description of the defect. SOLLiD Cabinetry reserves the right to inspect all defective parts and/or require verification of defective parts prior to providing the part under warranty. The defective part must be delivered to SOLLiD Cabinetry prior to a replacement part being given. It is SOLLiD Cabinetry’s option to provide repair parts or replace with a functionally equivalent product. Such replacement parts shall be at warrantor’s expense, but you shall bear all other expenses, including, but not limited to, cost of removal, transportation, re-installation, communication and any special service requested by you, such as, overtime labor, etc. Repaired or replaced items carry only the unexpired portion of the original warranty. This warranty may give you specific legal rights, and you may or may not have other rights, which vary from state to state.
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROVIDED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE SHORTER OF THE PERIOD PROVIDED BY LAW OR THE PERIOD OF THIS WARRANTY, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SOLLID CABINETRY BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. For customers living in those states which do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, consider this product to be without any warranty, neither expressed nor implied.
We take great care to provide our customers with quality products. However, due to the nature of wood and wood products, our cabinets may contain naturally occurring characteristics within the wood or finish. All wood cabinets can be expected to vary in color, grain pattern, and texture and natural woods may exhibit subtle changes as they age.
Pitch pockets/marks and open/closed knotholes are accepted wood traits; inherent characteristics of a natural product and are beyond our control.
Exposure to the elements (including humidity) may result in warping or splitting. For example, wood joints may eventually display visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners, and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or warp, split, or crack. These characteristics are not considered defective for warranty consideration.
Should the issue of a warped door arise, the standard allowable tolerance for wood is 1/16″ per lineal foot. Materials that fall within this specification are considered acceptable as part of the natural characteristics of wood.
SOLLiD Cabinetry expects the Dealer to complete their contractual obligations with their customer. All adjustments and minor repairs required to make the cabinets operable and functional are the dealer’s responsibility. It is the Dealer’s responsibility to supply labor necessary to replace or make reasonable corrections on warranted items. If field inspection is required by a SOLLiD Cabinetry representative, it is the Dealer’s responsibility to accompany the rep to the job site.
SOLLiD Cabinetry expects all Dealers selling our product to be ethical, fair, and observe good business practices. Should we receive numerous complaints about questionable conduct of a Dealer from their customers, SOLLiD Cabinetry may take appropriate action up to and including termination of the Dealers account to mitigate further problems.
